Community Box Concept
A Community Box allows customers to purchase one or more booster packs from a sealed Magic: The Gathering booster box.
Customers select available booster positions through the relevant Community Box page.
Once all required booster packs from a Community Box have been sold, MasterCopter will schedule the box for opening during a livestream.
Unless otherwise stated on the relevant Community Box page:
- each purchased booster corresponds to one physical booster pack from the displayed booster box;
- the booster is opened by MasterCopter during the livestream;
- all cards contained in that booster belong to the customer who purchased that booster;
- the cards are subsequently shipped to the customer or made available for pickup if this option was selected.
Purchasing a booster does not guarantee any particular card, rarity, monetary value or minimum value of cards.
The contents of Magic: The Gathering booster packs are determined by the manufacturer and are outside MasterCopter's control.
Booster Selection and Availability
Customers may select one or more available booster positions.
A booster shown as available may be purchased by another customer until the order and payment process has been successfully completed.
MasterCopter cannot guarantee that a selected booster position will remain available until checkout has been completed.
Once an order has been successfully completed and payment has been confirmed, the purchased booster position(s) will be allocated to that customer.
Prices
The applicable price per booster is displayed on the relevant Community Box page before the customer places the order.
All prices displayed to consumers include applicable VAT unless explicitly stated otherwise.
Where the Community Box page states that shipping is included, standard shipping to a supported destination is included in the displayed price.
Any optional additional charges will be displayed before the customer completes the purchase.
Payment
All Community Box orders must be paid in advance using one of the payment methods offered during checkout.
An order is only considered confirmed after MasterCopter has successfully received or confirmed payment.
If payment is not received within the payment period communicated during checkout or in the payment instructions, MasterCopter may cancel the reservation and make the selected booster packs available for purchase again.
Opening Date
The opening date may not yet be known when a booster pack is purchased.
Once the Community Box has sold out or otherwise becomes ready for opening, MasterCopter will schedule an opening date.
The planned opening date may be announced through the MasterCopter website, Discord, livestream schedule, email or other official MasterCopter communication channels.
MasterCopter may reasonably reschedule an opening due to technical problems, illness, delivery delays, force majeure or other circumstances that make the planned livestream impossible or impractical.
Rescheduling does not affect the customer's right to the purchased booster packs or their contents.
Livestream Opening
Community Box booster packs are normally opened during a public MasterCopter livestream.
Customers do not need to be present during the livestream to receive their cards.
The livestream and any recording are provided for entertainment and transparency.
Technical failures, interrupted streams or unavailable recordings do not affect the customer's right to receive the cards from their purchased booster packs.
Booster Contents
All cards physically contained in a customer's purchased booster belong to that customer, unless a specific Community Box page clearly states otherwise before purchase.
MasterCopter does not guarantee:
- any specific card;
- any specific rarity;
- any particular monetary or secondary-market value;
- a minimum value of cards;
- future card values;
- grading results;
- a specific card condition beyond what can reasonably be expected from a newly opened booster.
Minor manufacturing defects, printing variations, centering issues, print lines, surface imperfections or similar characteristics originating from the manufacturer are outside MasterCopter's control.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits statutory consumer rights relating to defective or incorrectly supplied goods.
Shipping
Cards are shipped to the delivery address supplied by the customer during checkout.
The customer is responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address.
If an order is returned because the customer supplied an incorrect or incomplete address, MasterCopter may charge the reasonable cost of reshipping the order.
Where shipping is advertised as included in the booster price, this refers to the standard shipping method offered by MasterCopter for that Community Box.
If a customer requests another available shipping method or additional shipping service, additional charges may apply where clearly communicated and agreed beforehand.
For deliveries outside the European Union, import duties, customs charges, local taxes or handling fees imposed by the destination country may be payable by the recipient unless explicitly stated otherwise.
MasterCopter remains responsible for shipment in accordance with applicable mandatory Belgian and European consumer law.
Pickup
Where offered during checkout, customers may choose to collect their cards in person instead of having them shipped.
MasterCopter will communicate when and where the order can be collected.
The customer may be asked to provide reasonable proof of identity or their order confirmation when collecting an order.
Right of Withdrawal
Consumers purchasing online generally have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract within the period provided by applicable consumer law.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude or restrict a statutory right of withdrawal where that right legally applies.
A customer wishing to exercise a right of withdrawal should contact MasterCopter as soon as possible at info@mastercopter.com.
The customer may use the statutory model withdrawal form or make another unequivocal statement communicating their decision to withdraw.
Because Community Box booster packs are intended to be opened during a livestream, customers are strongly encouraged to exercise any applicable withdrawal right before the scheduled opening takes place.
Once a booster has been opened, the physical booster can no longer be restored to its original sealed state. Any withdrawal request made after opening will therefore be handled in accordance with the mandatory consumer law applicable to that specific situation.
MasterCopter will not rely on these Terms & Conditions to remove or restrict statutory consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.
Cancellation Before Opening
Customers wishing to cancel an order before their purchased booster packs have been opened should contact info@mastercopter.com as soon as possible.
Where a valid statutory withdrawal is exercised, refunds will be processed in accordance with applicable consumer law.
MasterCopter may temporarily make the relevant booster positions unavailable while a cancellation or withdrawal request is being processed.
Box Topper Auctions
Certain Community Boxes may contain a Box Topper, promotional card or another separate product.
Where indicated on the relevant Community Box page, MasterCopter may offer this item for sale through a separate online auction.
The Box Topper is not included with any individual booster pack unless this is explicitly stated otherwise before purchase.
Purchasing one or more booster packs does not automatically grant ownership of the Box Topper and does not provide a customer with any random chance of winning it.
The auction is based solely on bidding. The highest valid bidder at the end of the auction wins the right to purchase the auctioned item for the winning bid amount.
Auction Duration
The duration of each auction will be displayed on the relevant auction page before bidding begins.
Unless otherwise stated, a Box Topper auction runs for 15 minutes and is typically started manually by MasterCopter shortly before or during the livestream opening of the relevant Community Box.
The scheduled closing date and time will be clearly displayed on the auction page.
All displayed auction times are based on the time zone indicated on the auction page.
Anti-Sniping Extension
MasterCopter uses an automatic auction extension system to provide bidders with a reasonable opportunity to respond to bids placed near the end of an auction.
Unless another extension period is clearly stated before bidding begins, the following rule applies: if a valid bid is placed during the final 20 seconds of an auction, the auction closing time is automatically extended until 20 seconds after that bid. Every subsequent valid bid placed during this extended period resets the remaining auction time to 20 seconds.
Bid placed at 20:14:45 → new closing time: 20:15:05
Bid placed at 20:15:00 → new closing time: 20:15:20
The auction closes once 20 consecutive seconds have passed without a new valid bid.
There is no predetermined maximum number of extensions unless explicitly stated on the relevant auction page.
Auction Bids
The current highest bid and required minimum next bid will be displayed on the auction page.
Bids must meet or exceed the minimum amount required by the auction system. Customers are responsible for carefully checking the amount of their bid before confirming it.
Bidders may not:
- manipulate the bidding process;
- use multiple accounts to artificially increase or manipulate prices;
- coordinate artificial bids;
- place fraudulent bids;
- deliberately interfere with another customer's ability to bid;
- use unauthorized automated systems to manipulate an auction.
MasterCopter may invalidate fraudulent, abusive or technically invalid bids where there are reasonable grounds to do so. MasterCopter will not place artificial bids or artificially increase auction prices.
Auction Winner
The customer holding the highest valid bid when the auction closes is the auction winner. The winning bidder will receive instructions for completing payment.
The final purchase price is the winning bid amount. Whether shipping is included in the winning bid or charged separately will be clearly indicated on the auction page before bidding.
Applicable VAT and other mandatory consumer price information will be handled in accordance with Belgian law. Winning an auction does not remove any statutory consumer rights that apply to the transaction.
Auction Payment
The winning bidder must complete payment within the payment period communicated after the auction.
If payment is not completed within this period, MasterCopter may, to the extent permitted by applicable law:
- cancel the resulting order;
- offer the item to another bidder;
- restart the auction.
MasterCopter may reasonably restrict participation by accounts that repeatedly win auctions and subsequently fail to complete payment.
Technical Auction Problems
MasterCopter will take reasonable measures to ensure that auctions operate correctly and fairly.
If a significant technical problem affects an auction, including problems that prevent customers from bidding normally, MasterCopter may reasonably:
- temporarily suspend the auction;
- extend the auction;
- restore the auction to a previous valid state; or
- restart the auction where necessary.
Any such action will be taken only where reasonably necessary to maintain a fair bidding process. MasterCopter will not manipulate bids, submit artificial bids or artificially increase the auction price.
Customer Accounts
Customers are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials.
Orders and bids placed through a customer account will normally be considered to have been made by the account holder, except where there is evidence of unauthorized access or another circumstance requiring investigation.
Suspected unauthorized account use should be reported immediately to info@mastercopter.com.
Pricing and Technical Errors
MasterCopter takes reasonable measures to ensure that product descriptions, availability, prices and auction information are accurate.
Obvious technical, pricing or display errors do not automatically bind MasterCopter where it should reasonably have been clear that an error had occurred.
Where an error affects an order or auction, MasterCopter will contact the affected customer and provide an appropriate solution in accordance with applicable consumer law.
Intellectual Property and Trademarks
Magic: The Gathering, Wizards of the Coast and related names, logos, card names, artwork and product imagery may be trademarks, copyrights or other intellectual property belonging to their respective owners.
MasterCopter is an independent seller and content creator, and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or otherwise officially associated with Wizards of the Coast unless explicitly stated otherwise.
Secondary-Market Value
Trading card prices may fluctuate significantly. MasterCopter makes no guarantee regarding the present or future secondary-market value of cards obtained from Community Box booster packs or Box Topper auctions.
The price of a booster pack does not represent or guarantee the value of the cards contained within that booster. MasterCopter is not responsible for subsequent changes in the market value of cards.
Liability
MasterCopter is responsible for fulfilling customer orders in accordance with applicable Belgian and European consumer law.
MasterCopter is not responsible for disappointment resulting from the random contents of authentic sealed booster products or for fluctuations in secondary-market card values.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability or statutory consumer rights where such liability or rights cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Privacy
Personal data provided when creating an account, placing an order, participating in an auction, making a payment or arranging delivery will be processed in accordance with MasterCopter's separate Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection legislation, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
The Privacy Policy explains what personal data MasterCopter collects, why it is collected, how it is used and retained, and how customers can exercise their privacy rights.
Customers may request deletion of their MasterCopter account by contacting info@mastercopter.com. Certain information may continue to be retained where required by applicable accounting, tax, legal or regulatory obligations.
Applicable Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by Belgian law. Where a customer resides in another country, this choice of law does not deprive the customer of mandatory consumer protections that apply to them under applicable law.
Any provision of these Terms & Conditions that is found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable will not automatically affect the validity of the remaining provisions.
Acceptance of Terms
Before completing a Community Box purchase or participating in an auction where acceptance is required, customers may be asked to confirm: "I have read and accept the Terms & Conditions."
Where an action creates an obligation to pay, this must be clearly communicated to the customer before the action is confirmed.
By completing an order, the customer confirms that the information supplied during checkout is accurate and that they have had the opportunity to review these Terms & Conditions before purchase.
